Hi! I’m Elizabeth, and I enjoy writing about philosophy. I am a Grade 12 high school student in Toronto, Canada. Here are some of my recent highlights:
- I am working on a philosophy platform for high school students called Dialexicon (https://www.dialexicon.org/). Dialexicon represents a merger of dialectic (Socratic philosophical dialogue) and lexicon (language). At its heart is a youth philosophy journal that I am launching with international philosophy professors, which is currently accepting submissions from high school students around the world.
- The University of Toronto’s Department of Philosophy recently published an article where they interviewed me: https://philosophy.utoronto.ca/news/from-aristotle-contest-to-dialexicon-an-interview-with-elizabeth-zhu/
- My economics research paper on the African Continental Free Trade Agreement is published in the Illinois-Wesleyan Undergraduate Economic Review. It is available for reading here: https://digitalcommons.iwu.edu/uer/vol16/iss1/24/
